It is a journey into the wilderness where we will camp for 4 nights and 5 days and have an interactive Book of Mormon experience. We will bring events from the Book of Mormon to life and learn how they apply to our lives today.
This adventure will be interactive and filled with Book of Mormon scenes, re-enactments, battles, great food and lots of fun! These few days spent together will strengthen our relationships with God, our knowledge of the Book of Mormon, and our friendships with each other.
All young men and young women who will turn 12 before December 31, 2016 are invited to attend. All graduating high school Seniors are also invited to attend.
Adult leaders that have a specific assignment or responsibility at the Book of Mormon Quest will be able to attend. All adults must register.
Quest will be held at a Long Valley Recreation Camp. This is a church owned site and is located outside of Pine, Az. It's approximately a 4 hour drive from the Stake Center.
No. Quest will take the place of separate YM and YW camps in 2026.
No. Quest will take the place of Trek this year. We realize that some of you may be disappointed by this, but we think Quest will achieve the same spiritual benefits as trek, if not more.
While we love the Pioneer Trek and the experiences and lessons the trek teaches us, The Book of Mormon Quest is much less about the physical journey and more about the personal and spiritual one as we bring the Book of Mormon to life. There will be some physical aspects to Quest that some might find challenging, but most of the week will be filled with village activities, games, devotionals, music, competitions, firesides, reenactments, study and reflection, social time with friends and leaders, great food and so much more.
Yes. Just like FSY and YM/YW camps, there will be a cost for youth registered to attend the event. The cost for each participant will be $100. This will cover all transportation, food, games, activities, and experiences. Adults will not need to pay to attend, but will need to pay for their own T-Shirt and other optional supplies if they want the stake to provide them.
Registration will be made live on this site in January of 2026. Communication will come out when it's time to register. All youth should be registered by March 31, 2026. If you miss the registration window, you can register late, but you will need to contact Sister Cook at (520) 549-9505 or at cook.meagan@gmail.com
